We are looking for farmers who are currently USDA Certified Organic or interested in transitioning to organic production. We encourage interested farmers to first learn about our producer pools and what it means to be a member of our cooperative by exploring the information below.

Who We Are
Organic Valley is the most successful organic farmer-owned cooperative in the world with $1.1 billion in sales and over 1600 member-owners. Since its founding, farmer-owned Organic Valley/CROPP Cooperative has always been of the farmers, for the farmers. We are fiercely independent and focused on maintaining a network of organic farms in rural communities across the country.
We Aren't For Sale!
As more and more organic brands are purchased and consolidated, Organic Valley has remained independent, and farmer owned. We aren’t for sale, and our history shows our steady presence alongside markets that have come and gone. This independence is the key to our ability to provide stable pay to our farmer member-owners.
Pay Price
Farmers should be paid a fair and stable price for the food they produce. At Organic Valley, the farmers' pay price is informed by member-owners and set by the farmer board of directors, and it does not easily go down. This limits the unknown and allows your farm to budget for today and your future.
We have invested millions in farmer pay over the past three years, and at Organic Valley, profits stay within the cooperative, going back to the farmer-owners.
Membership
Membership in Organic Valley/CROPP Cooperative requires an equity investment, maintaining organic certification, and meeting our policies and standards.
For those who are interested in or currently transitioning to organic, our Organic Transition Program assists dairy farmers with a payment for the final 12 months of transition.
Beyond access to our organic market, membership also includes numerous benefits, from discounted product orders and other perks, to supporting your farm's success with technical assistance, educational materials, and workshops.
